O Masuda Pottery
Both my cooking and my pottery evolve from my multi-culture background. It is my answer for what I feel comfortable and true to my esthetic. Every pieces are hand made from building the mold to hand decorating piece by piece. The imperfect-ness is what I treasure in my life so it reflects my pottery too.
我が家の食卓、私が作る料理に合う器を作っています。土を捏ねる事が始まり、成形し、絵付けまで一人で行っています。流行とは関係なく、完璧では無いけど、完璧で無いゆえの儚さ、家庭料理で使うからこそ気が抜けた、でも自分のヘリテージに忠実に表現してしているつもりです。
